UPDATED CANCER RESEARCH INFO
UPDATED CANCER RESEARCH
Updated cancer research is an integral part of obtaining more credible knowledge of cancer. On this site, you’ll find out about all the newly acquired research pertaining to cancer findings. I want to bring together all newly acquired research information and come up with methods to relieve symptoms of diseases including cancer. We need to know what cancer is before I discuss with you, some of the new information on it.
What is cancer?
A cancer cell is a cell that has lost its normal control mechanisms and thus has unregulated growth. Cancer can develop from any tissue within any organ. As cancer cells grow and multiply, they form a mass of cancerous tissue that invades adjacent tissue and can spread ( metastasize ) around the body. Cancer cells develop from normal cells in a complex process called transformation.
What is some of the newly acquired updated cancer researh?
· Broccoli and Brussel sprouts maybe easier to swallow for us because of a chemical found in the vegetables that may impede the spread of prostate cancer cells. Scientists discovered a compound called sulforaphane that is found in both vegetables, which hindered the growth of human prostate cancer cells in the lab. Sulforaphane accomplished this by apparently disrupting the action of protein microtubules within the cells, which are vital for the success of cell division.
· In the past data has suggested that sulforaphane’s role in preventing cancer was possibly due to its effects on detoxification enzymes that can defend against cancer promoting substances. An important study in rats showed that oral sulforaphane blocked the formation of breast tumors. Scientists have found that the chemical can push colon cancer cells to commit suicide. This is an important updated cancer research finding.
· Also, high blood levels of iron coupled with high levels of very low-density lipoprotein cholesterol appear to interact to increase the risk of cancer. As a result, iron and lipids combine to create oxidative stress, and oxidative stress has a role in the development of cancer.
· Furthermore, there’s a growing body of evidence linking increased night light to certain types of cancer, which has led researchers to suspect it could be connected to the steady increase in cases of childhood leukemia. A handful of scientists presented research at the First International Scientific Conference on Childhood Leukemia said that light at night and working shifts, which disrupt the body’s internal clock, have been associated with a raised risk of breast and colorectal cancer. This was an exhausting updated cancer research finding.
· In addition, people who get whole body x-ray scans in the hope of finding tumors at their earliest stages may ironically, be raising their overall risk of cancer from the scans themselves. Only get whole body scans when they’re necessary ( physicals, serious pains somewhere ). More will be discussed on how to possibly relieve the symptoms of cancer and more information on updated cancer research.
Updated cancer research is an integral part of obtaining more knowledge about cancer and possibly finding methods to relieve symptoms associated with cancer. More will be discussed on this topic later.
