TYPE 2 DIABETES SYMPTOMS

TYPE 2 DIABETES SYMPTOMS

Type 2 diabetes symptoms are a tool for knowing if you have type 2 diabetes mellitus. Type 2 diabetes mellitus-previously known as adult onset diabetes, maturity-onset diabetes, or non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus- is due to a combination of defective insulin secretion and defective responsiveness to insulin, almost certainly involving the insulin receptor in cell membranes. In early stages, hyperglycemia can be reversed by a variety of methods that can improve insulin sensitivity or reduce glucose production by the liver, but as the disease progresses the impairment of insulin worsens, and therapeutic replacement of insulin often becomes necessary. I think that uncovering the type 2 symptoms can be an effective method for determining if you’re coming down with type 2 diabetes mellitus. For more information on diabetes go to diabetes-care.html

What are type 2 diabetes symptoms?

The early signs and symptoms are the same as type 1 diabetes.

· Repeated trips to the bathroom, thirst and fatigue.

· Recurrent urinary tract infections.

· Tingling or numbness in the hands and feet as a result of nerve damage.

· Recurring vaginal yeast infections.

Type 2 symptoms can often go unnoticed because the blood sugar levels usually rise slowly over time. As a result, the type 2 diabetes symptoms may develop over years or may not occur at all. Special note* on average people have type 2 diabetes for 9-12 years before they’re diagnosed. I found out that experts now recommend that people ages 45 or older be regularly tested for diabetes. Also, regardless of what diabetes you have, the symptoms of high blood sugar, or hyperglycemia, are similar. For both type 1 and 2 diabetics the difficulty of stabalizing the blood sugar can be agonizing. As a result,an organic variety of compounds has been formulated.
