CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE
Congestive heart failure or (CHF) is a condition that afflicts thousands of Americans. My father suffered from (CHF), even though he didn’t pass away from it. If you or a loved one suffers from (CHF), then read this section of my site completely. The reason for this is because the definition of (CHF), the signs to look for, what organs are affected and what causes it are all revealed here.
What Is (CHF)?
(CHF) or better known, as heart failure is a condition in which the heart can’t pump enough blood to the body’s other organs. A heart with (CHF) keeps beating, but not as efficiently as its prior abilities. If you have congestive heart failure, then you might feel a shortness of breath or a tired feeling when exerting yourself through exercise.
As the blood flow from out of the heart becomes compromised, the blood returning to the heart by way of the veins backs up and causes swelling. The swelling occurs in the legs and ankles, but can manifest in other parts of the body. For example, a person lying down may experience shortness of breath due to the fluid collecting in the lungs.
